Knock him upside the head with a keytar. That'll make your point.

I Know..

First, Give 'em a blast in the face with some Aquanet, then throw 'em in a booth full of studio monitors blasting APB's 'Shoot You Down'.

Cue the voiceover question "WHERE's THE SYNTH IN THAT ONE HUH?!!..HUH?!!

Some/ most New Wave does use keys....it's exactly that, which makes it so cool... New Wave is a BROAD form of music, --claiming it is simply "synthesizer" music is ridiculous

Let him bask in his ignorant bliss. He doesn't deserve to know the joy that is New Wave!

Back in the early 80's, it was either NME or Melody Maker who asked some UK metal-head if there was such a thing as bad heavy metal. His answer: "Yeah, it's called New Wave."

Don't really know what that means, but it sure seemed funny at the time.

kraftwerk
propaganda
daf
a-ha
our daughters wedding
classix nouveaux
berlin

nine ways to win

the list just goes on & on............
i guess we should blame the music industry/critics that considered anything new, especially with a synthesizer...."NEW WAVE"....

Well, most people I associate with (late teens, early twenties) all have the same reaction to when I bring up New Wave: "What the hell is New Wave?"

And then the failed explanation ends with this line by them: "Oh, I thought it was 'Deepeechee'."
