Not much talk on this board about this German Electronic outfit, but very worthy of your attention. AKA Gina X, this late '70s/early '80s band featured Zeus B. Held as a member before he left to produce many great '80s recordings.
This is a rather lame '79 vid but will give you an idea of their sound. Their albums are now on CD via LTM.....

I bought the CD of Voyeur last year and really like it. I haven't been able to find any others on the shelves.

They're all available on LTM -- darla.com has them.

<br>"Nice Mover" is her best song ever. Very studio 54ish. Some of her other songs are strange, unintelligible lyrics like "vex vex vex vex!". Huh?

Is it German?
BTW- Whatever happened to Gina X??

I don't think this is German.

From discogs:
Real Name: Gina Kikoine, Zeus B. Held
Profile: Formed in Cologne, Germany, the core of Gina X Performance comprised charismatic Gina Kikoine (vocals and lyrics) and writer-producer-musician Zeus B. Held. Between 1979 and 1984 the group released four albums of cool arthouse electro-disco: Nice Mover, X-Traordinaire, Voyeur and Yinglish. Their classic 1979 single No G.D.M. was a club hit on both sides of the Atlantic and remains a cult classic thanks to electro/synthcore compilations such as Nag Nag Nag. Slinky second single Nice Mover is also an established favourite, having appeared on the Andrew Weatherall compilation Nine O'Clock Drop.
I'm jes sayin'
