My understanding is that this thread has been fun to several people here. I'm sure eight6 will quickly reassure me how that's only because I've made such an ass out of myself because I said...well, he can never actually provide details, can he? eight6 can't even explain why he has to strike up a bullying pose after someone posts news about the reissue of a Nu-Disc release. Maybe he's the Sacred Defender of the Bandwidth. Not that eight6 cares about accumulating posts or anything childish like that. He just wants to explain to us that people who don't have enough posts don't have the right to an opinion.

I think it might be a good idea if this was taken offline. This thread has been trouble since it's inception. Whatever intent it had in origin has long been diluted. Good luck.

Either that or take it to the Desmond Child thread.

I can't BELIEVE there aren't more people who are interested in talking about RICKY NELSON.

OnionAve/Salsynth - not that you don't have a right to your opinion, but that you are a fucking idiot and as such, your opinion carries little weight.

Well, we know that certain members have been enjoying this thread, and consider it healthy for the NWO. (I don't know what to say about eight6's imaginary pals who asked for this thread to be taken off-list. Maybe that's his usual retreating strategy.) Could we at least give eight6 or Barmy or some other NWO Elite the opportunity to explain why people shouldn't post about rare reissues from the New Wave era? That's what those Rick Nelson Nu-Disc tracks are, even if eight6 can't accept the idea of anyone defying his authority on the matter.

If you don't get it by now, you never will. At least you are consistent with the other georgie "fans"--you're all retards.

It seems that what I'm supposed to "get" is to never question Barmy or his fellow New Wave Crossing Guards. Gee, those guys don't seem delusional or pathetic at all.

Hey tiger_mn
Why mention me? Maybe because I don't back down to bullies like you? There you go again calling people names. You are starting with me for no reason. If you have a problem with me contact me directly. Better yet lets meet in person. I am so sick of people like you hiding behind your computer. So now you are the judge of who and what opinions carry weight? Very laughable.

What the hell? Two pages on georgies post on Rick Nelson?

Very amusing reading, but I am with Marv in saying, let's move this discussion outside of the outpost.

I understand the frustration that people have regarding most of georgies post. I in no way think that Rick Nelson is a new wave artist, even though he may have recorded a "new wave" song. It just seems that many of georgie's posts have nothing to do with the intent of this forum. That is what gets everyone upset.
There must be forums that Rick Nelson, or the Bay City Rollers topics are welcome, but this is not one of them.

I dislike when people jump all over georgie myself, but I have to say, I cringe when I read some of the topics he initiates.
We could go with the "if you don't like it, don't read it" approach. But this is the New Wave outpost, not the Power Pop outpost. So there lies the problem.
