She is going to release an album this year, her second one.According to Wikipedia, she is working on the album with non other than Roisin Murphy of Moloko.

I think you misunderstood the quote. It's Roisin Murphy's second album not Cathy Dennis'.

If it was a Cathy Dennis album it would be her third album after Move To This and Into the Skyline.

You were right, I misunderstood the quote. I've edited it. However I think it would be nice to see her back in the studio working on her own stuff.

She's actually made a pretty good living from songwriting since her days as a popster. Off the top of my head she wrote Britneys "Toxic" a while back. Move to This is a brilliant late 80's sounding Dance album.

She's also done the backing vocals on "Toxic" and is responsable for Kylie's biggest hit "Can't Get You Out Off My Head".

June and the Exit Wounds recorded a tribute song about her for their first CD. She was pretty popular in the late 80's in England. I think she was a product of the Stock-Aitken-Waterman "factory."

Nah. She was never involved with them. She was a bit more technical than that. Although I do like some of SAW stuff.
