Here's your last chance....in about 15 minutes or so at Fenway it will be first pitch in the New York Yankees vs. Boston Redsox three game weekend series at Fenway. Your cheers may actually effect the out come of the series and maybe the whole direction of the pennit race (if I really believe what I am saying then I am really deluted[:o)] but this is fun anyways)

go whoever,

Dude, lets just face facts and tell it like it is. The CURSE will live on forever........... Heck the Tampa Bay Devilrays will win a world series before the Cubs and Redsox will and thats the way it is.

Don't look now but after the A** beating the Yankees took from the Cleveland Indians the BoSox are just 3.5 games out. With momentum going at full throttle for Boston it does'nt look good for Stienbreners gang.

It does'nt matter St. Louis is going to win it all. Only Oakland with thier pitching or Anahiem with thier bats can best match up with the Cards.

Go A's,

I was wondering if this thread would reappear.

The pictures of the scoreboard at Yankee Stadium were truly beautiful.

It brings a tear to me eye, it does.

The best part is now that it's September 1, there's not a thing George can do about his team except rant and rave and bring up minor leaguers.

Go Bosox, that's all I gotta say!! Red Sox will always live on for me, win or lose!!

On the downside of last nights 22-0 shelling of the Yankees by Cleveland, for Red Sox fans it won't matter if it was 122-0 if come the final game of the season the sox are still looking up at the yanks in the standings. Hopefully Boston momentum will continue and Yankee slump will keep up.....

One month ago at 10 and a half games out I had faith.

I still do.

I'd love to the Red Sox defy the "Curse Of The Bambino" and embarass the Yanks. It'd be good for baseball and reinvigorate the sport.
