LOCALS ONLY Catch One (EP) - very rare EP by this Virginia Beach band from 1985 - sounds a little like early Ocean Blue etc...
LUCAS The Last Taboo (EP) - Oakland CA based post-wave band from 1984. One decent track "Last Taboo".
DEPROGRAMMERS Fear Of Success (EP) - one solid track "Just Kept Running" released in 1984 on the Cryptovision label out of New York. The same label that released the synth driven band LYON IN WINTER LP in 1986.
DEBUT MAGAZINE / LP (ISSUE 10) - has great track "This Is Not The Time" by COOK DA BOOKS.

Cool run-in at Bleeker Bob's yesterday. I saw The Armoury Show's Waiting for the Floods in the $2 sidewalk vinyl bin, good condition. I'm thinking that can't be and am further worried because it doesn't have a price tag. I go into the shop and say flat out "Is this [i]really[/i] $2?!" Sure enough, the attendant says "Whoa, no way, I don't think so." But it doesn't have a price. As he's wondering what to do with it, John DeSalvo (of <a href="http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:0pftxql5ldhe~T1">Tuff Darts</a>) walks over to say "Ah, $2 is fine, just let him have it." I've VERY stoked at this second run-in with John. The first time, he signed my Tuff Darts CD. Nice. [^]
