Best hair metal band of the 80's?

My choice is RATT. Great songs, catchy riffs, superb musicians. Always thought they were the best of the LA scene. Liked the Crue too, but Vince Neils' voice gets a bit irritating.

Ooops. SOrry I missed this one. While I really detested hair metal, I was always a little partial to both L.A. Guns and Hanoi Rocks. Other than that though, forget it.

I may be biased but living here in New Jersey you'd never know that 80's Hair Metal went away. Most everyone in Bergen County is trapped in a 1987 timewarp and if White Lion or Warrant ever came to town these Jersey folks would probably drop to their knee

Cinderella was a actually a great hard rock blues band that fell into the hair metal category. They get my vote for best.

L.A. Guns made some great music.

Ratt & the Crue really rocked (did I just type that?)

I could put up with Whitesnake.

Do the Scorpions count as hair metal? They'd get my vote, but I guess they were around in the 70s too.

I'm wearing my Poison - "Look What The Cat Dragged In" t-shirt at this very moment. My friends and I still debate the greatest member of the band, Rikki Rocket or C.C. DeVille? I say it's Rikki Rocket.

I know they're not hair metal, but the closest I come to liking ANYthing in that genre would be Rush. But hot damn do I like Rush!

I don't like much of this kind of thing but does Def Lepard count? If so, they get my vote.

The Crue have mine.

I also like The Cult, Klymaxx....and well some more 70s stuff such as the likes of Iron Maiden, Kiss, and well Black Sabbath.

For some reason I want to include Incubus in this category, I have no idea why.
