I highly doubt that Into The Gap will be fixed at this point.

Thankfully, I haven't opened my copy of ITG yet, as im holding out to find out if I should keep it or return it? I dont want to be spinning a song from the remaster @ a club and the glitches come out and are obvious to people.

So, with that said, show of hands as to who thinks I should take it back? not a big deal for me to take it back, I'd rather wait for Quick Step and Side Kick(which I'm sure is much better quality overall than ITG)?

so....what do you all think?

I would keep it. It's only one (maybe two) tracks. It's worth it for the rest, even if you already have the album on CD.

Question: On the extended of "Hold Me Now", there is this annoying-clicking sound, almost like a cymbol or something in the background, during various parts of the song. Has anyone else noticed this, and is it supposed to be there, or is this another "glitch"?

Still nothing on the Into The Gap discs being fixed. I will fire off an e-mail to Demon but I do not expect anything to come of it. There's probably little financial interest for them to fix it. Bleh

Into The Gap's problematic disc two has been officially replaced. If you have a version with poor sound quality, Edsel Records will mail you a replacement disc for free. Just get in contact with them.

Thanks for the heads up. I have the 2 disc, and noticed the shit poor quality sound of the 2nd disc as well, I'm glad they've decided to fix/replace it.

Do you need any proof of purchase? Or do you have to return the defective disc to them

Hmm, wish you didn't post that info. Some people may want to take advantage ...

Second disc has been fixed. I think three of the tracks were changed; after ripping/FLACing, three files had different sizes.

They responded to my email, and asked for my address. I would imagine they're in the process of replacing the one I bought? I'm glad they're being good about this and replacing it.
