The Cure-Disintergration (2 disc)

The Cure-Disintergration (2 disc)

Any word yet on whether or not this will be released? been waiting to hear on it and Japanese Whispers for a bit. Kinda doesn;t make sense to re-release the others, and no do these 2?

How about this for the Disintergration 2 disc:

The complete full disc(maybe a boinus track or 3) for the first disc, and for the second, the "Mixed Up" disc, w/a few more mixes of songs?

afaik Disintegration is still on the agenda (as are the following albums). there was talk of a seperate release of Mixed Up.
Japanese Whispers won't see a rerelease as it was not an album in itself just a compilation of singles + b-sides - remastered version of the singles can be found on the 'Greatest Hits' compilation and the b-sides are remastered on 'Join The Dots' b-sides compilation.
Unfortunately that means we won't get to hear demos (or liveversions) of those songs, which is really a shame!
No dates set for further rereleases, there was talk of 2008 - but this obviously won't happen, so, who knows, 2009 - 2010 whenever...

For Disintegration I still hope for a 2009 release for its birthday + make it a 3cd+dvd boxset, the following would be my suggestion:
CD1) Disintegration
CD2) Disintegration (whole album live in its entirety, expanded Entreat - the Wembley shows were recorded)
CD3) demos + outtakes
DVD) Concert from The Prayer Tour (plus some nice bonus features...)
such a release would entertain me way more than that absolutely horrible 4:13 Dream album which is to me a waste of time to say it in a superniceway...

It was released May 1989. It would be nice if they released this as well as Mixed Up And Wish soon. Just no more crappy demo versions please.
