Went to the concert last night; great venue (small club, fantastic sound).

BP came on about 11:45PM, played for 1+ hours; the guitars were ringing OFF THE HOOK!!! Paul Humphrey channelled Brian Ferry/Svengali with his crooning and gesticulations!! He was very happy to be there, thanking people for all their support over the years.

The set started off with the helicopter-ish sounds of Radio Silence, then Falling, and next Video Verite.

They played a number of songs I wasn't familiar with.
The original bassist came out for a song.

Towards the end of the initial set I was pushed by a VERY ATTRACTIVE woman as she muscled her way to the stage. Turns out she was EmmGryner, who did a few backing vocals for the last few songs (including Chinese Graffitti and Don't Walk Past). Did I mention that she was Suh-moh-king!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:D] Google her.

A 2 song encore ended with a driving intense Ramonish oldie "Same Old Place".

My ears are still ringing!! And the smile is still on my face.

It was a great show. Highly recommended If you have an opportunity to see them live- don't hesitate. My ears are still ringing too!

I've heard they may be working on some new material!

Let's hope the shows continue.

Schwenko- looking forward to your pics.

Tenpole- sorry I didn't get a chance to meet up with you.
You'll have to check the bluepeter websites- I don't own a camera.

If you go to the above link there is now a clip posted of "Don't Walk Past" (rather poor quality).
I must have been about 2 feet behind the photographer. There's also a few links to Emm Gryner[:p]

And now there are 30+ pics posted. I'm in picture #3, on the far left-looks like I'm wearing shades (obviously not). And lots of pix of Emm!![8D]
