The Damned

This may be of interest to some of my fellow aging punksters.

From Live Nation:

"Legendary punk rockers The Damned have been fighting the power since before even the Sex Pistols, and had their classic hits "New Rose" and "Smash It Up" covered by Guns N' Roses and The Offspring. Today The Damned are recording exciting new music, and giving music fans a chance to see living legends live in concert."

Concert Tour Dates

12/31/08 Blender Theater at Gramercy, New York NY
01/02/09 The Stone Pony, Asbury Park NJ
01/03/09 Theater of the Living Arts, Philadelphia PA
01/04/09 Paradise Rock Club, Boston MA

I'm afraid I've got more sedate plans on New Year's Eve. I'm probably priced out by the cost of tickets anyways.

I wonder who's even in the band these days...

They played at House of Blues in Anaheim on Halloween this last October, don't know anyone who went.
