HUGE Book of Love reissue news!!!!

Amazon just hasn't updated the release date yet. When Amazon's internal clock clicks over to May 12th, and there is no stock, the robots will probably automatically update all four as "Not in stock; order now and we'll deliver when available" - most sites have updated with an estimated July release date...

And the ccmusic site has been mentioned in this thread as having the Book of Love releases on their site and they appear to be in stock - i just don't think that site lists any information regarding Pre-Orders and Release Dates on any of their product pages, so hope that lack of info isn't misleading people. I would be very surprised if they have these, or have had these, in stock.

I ordered them from ccmusic as soon as I got the catalog about a month ago--they make it sound like the CDs are exclusive to them and mention nothing of them being pre-orders. After several weeks, finding out they will be available everywhere--and that I can get them cheaper--I cancelled the order.

Amazon now has them listed as having been released and says that they ship "within 7 to 11 business days."

yeah, this release got very interesting to me with the inclusion of "lost souls"- i mean, i like demos just fine, but.... between this release and the original release that is a lot of mixes on cd- ted told me that the demos are a hoot, so i bet i'll be getting this after all.

Just received my reissue of Lullaby. It's a digipak with no booklet inside, but there's a slot for one, so if you have the original CD, you can take the booklet with all the liner notes and insert it in the new disc's case.

I also just read a review on Amazon for their debut album, and according to this reviewer, its release has been pushed back to July 21!

I just received the three latter CDs (Lullaby, CC, Lovebubble)from a third party seller on Amazon. Paid under $5 each brand new and sealed (no promo marks either.) These remasters sound fantastic and the bonus track selections are right on target. Like someone else said, unfortunately they are digi-packs, but oh well still nice packaging. There are still some listed by the seller I got them from at this great price if anyone wants a great deal. Can't wait for the release of the self titled remaster.

Hey guys, I got the self-titled in today. Guess what, "Lost Souls" (Spirited Mix) is not there. Kind of bummed out but they stuck on their the "Boy Dub" which I love also so I guess it's ok. I guess we'll have to hope "Lost Souls" shows up on Retro:Active or something else. I can really do without the live versions cause it sounds off compared to the rest of the stuff. Artwork is pretty cool, front photo is slightly dark in my opinion but overall pretty nice.

that truly is a bummer. I wish amazon would ship my copy already...along with the Tom Tom Club 2-disc reissue!!!
