Crap! CRAP!!! I'm away on vacation. I wouldn't otherwise miss this for anything. Thanks for the update. Enjoy. Happy 40th too.

PS. Shred, you're real name is Ed right? Also manager for the Lost Patrol?? If so, Cath from Manchester says "Hi!"

I'd love to see Mark again. I can't find a list of dates for this tour. Is there an official list somewhere, or is Mark just performing a few impromptu gigs at various spots on the east coast?

It's not a tour. He has a habit of doing impromptu gigs with local bands. I've heard they're often shit, but this one definitely doesn't sound like one of them. Lost Patrol are pretty good.

These particular shows have been set up very impromptu. No proper itinerary per se. I just booked Mark in Philly as of last Friday.

There are now 2 bands opening for Mark in Philly. The first band is a Philly band called The Silence Kit and the 2nd band is The Lost Patrol from NY. Silence Kit have a very retro-y new wave sound and their vocalist is a bit Robert Smith-like. The Lost Patrol are like a more amped up Mazzy Star with Cocteau Twins atmosphere in a Serge Leone spaghetti western. Really nice stuff.

As for Mark's backing band, I can't confirm his players 100%, but most likely the same guys who back him in Boston, The Curtain Society.

Hey blir! I saw your post on British Sea Power and the exchange with Cath, a good friend of mine. Seen her a few times here in the states and her bf has crossed the pond twice on business and saw Lost Patrol twice! You mentioned a "DJ Shred." There is actually a gal named DJ Shred that spins music in NY or Brooklyn. That's not me though. I just use the name too.
