I did a search, here is a direct link to the label:
http://www.cherryred.co.uk/cherrypop/pr ... =landscape

It's great to have their 3rd 1982 LP on CD, however Cherry Pop could have done it better: to release "Manhattan Boogie Woogie" with bonus tracks. Their first LP was issued years ago on CD (also as 2 LPs on 1 CD, then with their 2nd and most famous LP) (see my site www.discog.info for more info) and fans of Simmon synth drums would reeaallyy prefer their 3rd LP with extra 12" mixes etc. I wonder if this CD is from original tapes, or from cleaned up vinyl? In any case I will buy it, I'm only saying it could have been done with a little more research. I think it's kinda lazy to just put 2 LPs on a CD, even if some say its "good value for money", but this is 2009, and 2 LPs on 1 CD seems almost outdated. /JW

First Freur, and now Landscape too. Don't think this is an encouraging trend at all [:(]

I sent the label an email:
"Hello, is this CD mastered from original master tapes?
Question 2, do you have plans for more Landscape CDs?
They also did several great 12" mixes.
Thanks, Jonas W
www.discog.info"

Their reply:
"We used the original master tapes in the production of the Landscape CD release CRPOP36. They were transfered from the original analogue production masters to a digital format to complete the mastering task. I hope this clarifies the question asked.
At this point we don't have any further plans for another Landscape CD. However if this new release sells well we have had a singles plus 12" versions CD suggested that appeals to us."

I just got this a few minutes ago. I can confirm it is from master tapes. Plus, it's not been brickwalled in volume either. Nice booklet, even with the disclaimer about the masters being used. I haven't listened to it fully but it get high marks on initial impressions.
