wasn't the 25th anniversary reissue lame enough? think i'll hold out for the 35th anniversary reissue. here's a thought: quit screwing ardent clash fans with recycled crap! start cranking out other sony/ bmg reissues that should have been done a long time ago - including springsteen's catalog! ha! i said it and i'm not ashamed. i love new wave, but it's just one piece of the puzzle. feel free to post my crucifix next to the guy looking for the instro to hungry heart and nail me to it.

Yeah, speaking of unreleased Sony/BMG albums. How about a reissue of the greatest Clash ripoff record ever made. The Red Rockers and "Condition Red". For the most part almost everything from the Columbia owned 415 Records has pretty much seen the light of day except for this. Any form, I don't even care if it is from flat masters would be nice. I am a Clash freak but it seems like we are going in circles now with certain things. Kids nowadays like the old stuff, especially the stuff nobody has heard.... at least that's what they say!!! [;)]

The 30th anniversary reissue is basically the 25th anniversary reissue minus the "Vanilla Sessions" bonus CD and in different packaging.

WTF?! Seriously? It's like they've (Sony/ BMG) have hit rock bottom and have begun to dig down. Off the top of my head I can think of four new wave entities Sony/ BMG SHOULD reissue, and I know many of you feel the same: a deluxe of the first A Flock Of Seagulls, the rest of the Furs catalog, B.A.D.'s catalog (not just the upcoming reissue of the debut, though that's a good start) and all of The The's b-sides & other rare stuff they didn't include on their sucky reissues from a few years ago.

What about releasing the early Clash produced version of Combat Rock with songs that are on bootlegs floating around.
