Israel's heavy handed attack on unarmed Flotilla

Postby edisonoside » Mon May 31, 2010 11:07 pm

Israel has really done it this time..Their image is now as dirty as the gulf waters..And about to get worse. To attack unarmed humanitarians is the lowest of lows[B)]..

Fuck Israel. It's way past time to wipe these filthy bastards off the face of the Earth once and for all.

I don't like that kind of extreme..To punish a whole country for the actions of a few is always wrong...but, Israel's leaders need to be reminded that they can't go around bullying the world without consequence..

And what would that consequence be? Anything short of getting rid of them would be no more than a temporary and ineffective fix. As long as they are where they are, there will be nothing but problems.

Or maybe we could just wait until all the Mexicans are in the U.S. and then pay to move all the Israelis to Mexico?

Why did the US give "goodies' to the Mexican inticing them to come over in droves in the first place?? STOP THAT and they will STOP too..Wasn't that easy???

There are easy logical ways at handling things without killing or making them suffer so..

Do you mean that they get emergency room care, or their kids get to attend school? The reason they come over here is because we have powerful industries, namely fruit & agribusiness, and food preparation (e.g., chopping and sorting chicken parts) that rely heavily on manual labor and migrant workers. This issue cuts across the political parties (they're both bankrolled by lobbyists and corporations), which is why both sides pay a lot of lip service, but nothing gets done about it.

[/quote]It's a form of corporate welfare. When we issue grants/funds to Israel, they use it to purchase weaponry, equipment, supplies and expertise from US arms manufacturers. 75% of our funds come right back to US military corps, which are basically govt sponsored extensions of the pentagon anyway. Also: Israel is considered strategically important for christian religions (see: Rapture). For this reason all US politicians must take a solemn public pledge of fealty to Israel in order to qualify for office. For unknown reasons, allegiance to Israel is more important than pursuing meaningful, workable foreign policy.
