you must be new to the world of ztt- it was a baffling by-product of having a producer, who likes to spend lots of time in the studio turning knobs and buttons, as the label head: back then ztt just remixed and remixed and remixed, and instead of just releasing the very best versions they would release EVERYTHING, odd experimental noise things, snippets of songs that they would rename or number, strange meaningless bits and pieces turned into "diversions" or the like... for a collector it's maddening.

on this collection, the first cd does a good job of rounding up stuff from ALL the albums, including some things like the theme song and the stuff from the live dvd.

cd2 is apparently EVEN MORE recently unearthed stuff from the archive. le sigh. it's worth a listen though...

No stranger to ZTT thankyou. I thought maybe some additional b-sides/album cuts would've been better. Anyway not complaining really about the tracklist.

Maybe there are plans to re-release the albums, with all the B-sides, rare tracks and 12" mixes? There is no room to include all those on this 2-CD.

Any AON experts on here who can post an a-side, b-side, year of release, etc. info on the entire track list?

Well my site is www.discog.info which also includes an Art of Noise discography, which was a bit of a nightmare to do, because of their tendency to use different titles for various re-edits of the same track. As many of the titles on the upcoming 2-Cd are new and/or previously unreleased, I will wait to give details until I have the CD in my hand. But the main tracklisting is there of course. /JW

That's all OK. But seeing the complete(!) video collection would be the best. All their videos are a pure class in their own way.
