I'm the meantime, the action on the field in the Korea game meant a little action off the field in the zill household. Go Korea!

Ha ha! It's sort of like the way Canadians have perfected doggie-style to a fine art so you can still watch Hockey Night In Canada on Saturday while hanging with your gal pal.

OK WTF is the "group of death"? Could it be that soccer has a redeeming quality after all?

Maybe that's the one group where someone may actually score a goal...or the teams may actually win games instead of playing to a draw!

Your team are doing the best they can with what they've got and shouldn't be blamed too much. I would put the blame at grass roots level for not developing the talent that should be in the team this time around.

As for our lot, the grass roots support is non-existant and it seems purely by luck we've got any world-class players at all.

Germany is a good team, so that's also a reason. At least Aussies qualified.
I'm originally from Russia/Ukraine area, and both of those countries did not even qualify.... embarrassing

also kudos to North Korea for standing their ground against Brazil (2:1)...they even managed to get one ball past Brazil.

Gotta admit, the Spain-Suisse game was pretty good! The last 20 minutes the Spanish just kept attackingand shooting but nothing would go in the net! What an upset!

LOL @ Spain. They're probably down in the dumps after that effort. They should get together and do something fun, like a group picture of them making Chinese eyes.
