Monster Energy

Postby SonicBoom » Tue Jul 06, 2010 9:32 am

Is anyone else into drinking this stuff? They make me feel energetic and alert throughout each day. I guess you can say it's my replacement for coffee, because ever since I started drinking this stuff I haven't had the desire to drink coffee anymore. One question though. Is it any worse for your health than coca cola or 7 Up? I blame my friend for getting me hooked on this stuff. I used to tell him "they're not for me, they're for monsters LOL".

All I ever drink anymore is Kronik low Carb Energy. Not for the low carbs but it has basically no calories and it is the best tasting to me by far. Red Bull is a distant second. I drink a lot of it too! No more pop, never drank coffee.

Hmm well, from what I am aware all of these types of chemical laden drinks are bad for you, specifically if you use them every day.

Every now and then to assist with a hangover etc is no doubt fine (per the moderation rule) however every day will subject your body to a constant stream of unwanted chemicals.

However, if you don't give a shit about all that - Go nuts! [:D]

if drinking carbonated soft drinks, my stance has always been ones with sugar at least have fewer chemicals, so I generally stick to ones with real sugar. They'll still kill me, but maybe not as quick :-)

of course. most the time when I drink Coke it's with Jim Beam floating in it.. so I guess I'm fucked either way [;)]

I was driving back to Phoenix from Tucson a couple of months ago, not having enough sleep the night before... my assistant suggested 5 Hour Energy, I was skeptical, but we stopped and I bought one and drank it... and I was not tired and did not yawn the rest of the day. I would not use it every day and I don't plan on buying it or using it again unless I'm in a similar place (like trying to stay awake while driving).
