HELP!

Postby zill » Fri Aug 20, 2010 1:28 am

I've got a weekend of hardcore analysis to crunch through and I've got NOTHING new to listen to.

I need NEW music! That's instantly listenable! Don't make me put on that Arcade Fire CD.

I've narrowed the list for you. Also, you could just go grab the new Devo CD.
The Limousines are a pretty cool group I have been listening to now.

That's a lot of Fleet Foxes for the remaining 35 hours.

I'm a non-technie with a technical question.

Seems like Sea, Coop41, Blir and I are all online now reading/posting to NWO.
Why doesn't the NWO board have the capability of informing us of this/letting us chat with each other?

I wish it did, as long as there was no capability to simulcast Fleet Fuxes in the background/foreground.[^]

I'm really liking these guys at the moment.

Orphan Boys - Passion, Pain & Loyalty is the new one. I prefer their first, Shop Local.

Think I've been listening to too much CBCradio3 because a lot of my other choices would be Canadian.

We Are Wolves
The Lovely Feathers
Mohawk Lodge
Boxer The Horse
Pretty much anyone I've posted with a red frame in Next Wave videos.[:D]

There already is. It's reserved for the NWO elite. Me and Frayo have been gabbin' our ears off while consuming mass quantities of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Tips from friends, an eye on CMJ lists, Ghosty's nice blend on Altrok, various "indie playlist" torrents, etc. I'm finding however it's a process that still leads me to fairly mainstream indie stuff. I love the occasional ultra-obscure unsigned band but really don't have a way of monitoring specifically for that.
