Hi, again, everyone...

I saw there were a few questions piling up, so I'll do my best to answer them in turn:
Which one do I click to get the box set with all the albums?
You can get to the shops directly here...
CDs: http://www.re-flex.info/SHOP/Reflex/shop.html
Merch: http://www.re-flex.info/SHOP/Reflex/sho ... ndise.html
Are these ready to ship now or is there a specific release date[?]
They are ready now, with one small caveat for those getting the box set -- there was a printing error discovered earlier this week to do with the 'Re-Fuse' disc track listing, and Paul said he is looking into having the corrections made and sending them to those who ordered the entire set. (Will post more about this as I get more information.)
Are these in digipaks or jewel cases ?
They are all in full-size (i.e., not slim) jewel cases, and each CD has a booklet with a chapter from 'The Stage of History'. (I'll try to snap a photo of one of mine and post it here...)
Is it CDr or silver disc release?
Interesting question... I've not discussed this with the guys, but, looking at my copy I am going to say these are silver pressed discs, not CD-Rs. Again, I'll try to post a photo to better illustrate.

Where are these being shipped from as i'm only interested in the Politics Of Dancing CD and it comes to over £20 and i don't want to pay import duties on top of that. What's the sound quality like on these have they been properly remastered from original master tapes or are they vinyl rips[?]

I'm sorry, schwenko, I misunderstood your question. :) (A few people have been having trouble getting into the Shops from the main portal pages, so I assumed that's what you meant.) When you get to the Music Shop, move your mouse over the dot on the bottom-most icon that says 'Re-Fuse' and a link saying 'Add To Basket' should appear. Click on that and it will place *only* the box set in the Basket and you'll then be taken to the next screen where you're asked for your country/region for basic tax and shipping purposes. From there you'll be taken to the Basket, where you can opt to continue shopping or select shipping methods, check out, etc. Also, BTW, as a shortcut, the link to the Merchandise Shop is the strip of animated dots just below the list of CDs and just above Terms and Conditions. The reverse is true in the Merchandise; the strip at the bottom takes you to the Music Shop.

Hope this helps... :)

Hi, moni...

Everything is shipping from the UK. I received my advance copy directly from Jambo Music in London, so I'm going to assume that's where everyone else's will be coming from also, or somewhere nearby.

To answer your second question, I am (obviously?) not an audio engineer or anything of that sort, nor do I have any specialised audiophile equipment (does a Technics turntable count?) [;)]. I've been playing it either on my 2.1 PC speakers (cranked!), or my Sony studio monitor headphones for close listening, or as MP3s on my portable player, to give you an idea of my listening environment. But the new 'Politics' sounds excellent to my ears, and I'd previously been listening to a rip I made of it from vinyl years ago.

The album was completely remastered for this re-issue, as the band and producer John Punter have said they were unhappy with the master the record company used for the 'One Way Records' CD release in the mid-1990s. The guys -- especially Paul -- have worked painstakingly on this and the entire set, as a matter of pride, to make it the best quality possible, which is partly why it took so long to finish (and that's besides the website)! I realise that's probably a very subjective answer on my part, but I think you'll be pleased. [:)]

Edit:
There is some further information on the website you might like to read (just click on the 'Politics' icon).

OK, everyone, as promised, here are some photos of the 'Re-Fuse' box set I took earlier this evening. *This* is what you have to look forward to.... Enjoy! [:)]

<p>
The box set....<br>
<a href="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/box_cds_in_600w.jpg"><img src="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/box_cds_in_600w.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosted at Re-Flex Re-Action.com" /></a></p>

<p>
All the discs....<br>
<a href="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/box_cds_out_600w.jpg"><img src="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/box_cds_out_600w.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosted at Re-Flex Re-Action.com" /></a></p>

<p>
A peek at the inside of the 'Jamming The Broadcast' booklet....<br>
<a href="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/jamming_open_600w.jpg"><img src="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/jamming_open_600w.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosted at Re-Flex Re-Action.com" /></a></p>

<p>Another view of the 'Jamming The Broadcast' CD and booklet....<br>
<a href="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/box_booklet_cd_600w.jpg"><img src="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/box_booklet_cd_600w.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosted at Re-Flex Re-Action.com" /></a></p>

<p>To answer the question about whether these are CD-Rs or silver pressed discs -- the disc on the left is a sample CD-R (a RW, actually, but you get the idea). The 'Jamming The Broadcast' disc is on the right in the jewel case. You can see the obvious difference in colour....<br>
<a href="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/cd_compare_600w.jpg"><img src="http://www.wabbittweb.com/re-flex/public/images/cd_compare_600w.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosted at Re-Flex Re-Action.com" /></a></p>

<p>
I hope you can see, this project was not a casual undertaking. Each one of these albums has been produced as if it was a stand-alone release, from the artwork to the booklets to, of course, the music itself. [:)]

I just wanted to say thanks to Jennifer for keeping all of us up to date over the last couple of years. Having owned the One-Way Records 'Politics' CD and a decent CDR of 'Humanication' for many years, I didn't dare to believe that this box set would finally become a reality...

Have just ordered the Re-Fuse box set over the weekend, and now that the pics are posted above I'm totally delirious ;-)

Hope everyone enjoys the set (or individual albums as they see fit - great to have the choice); it'll be interesting to see comments here once people have had the chance to listen through.

Count me in as one of the people who is glad this release has finally happened. But for the love of God, that is the WORST website I have ever been unfortunate enough to visit. How is anyone supposed to find anything? Everything I click doesn't work and the random images and sound effects are overwhelming! I'm glad someone posted a link directly to the store so I could order the boxset because I would've never gotten there on my own. It's just atrocious!

I pity the person who has to visit that site without and guidance. Random flash items appear and disappear, but nothing happens when I click on any of them (not that I know what's supposed to happen because nothing is labeled). There has to be a better way to get the message out to people. Even when I click the "audio off" button on the main page, the sound effects and music start right back up if I click on anything. It's very bizarre.

I have friends that wanted to visit the site to find out more information about Re-Flex but finally gave up because they couldn't navigate the site. I'm not stating any of this to criticize, I just want Re-Flex fans to be able to find out info and order items without having to email technical support.

(Blakeh:) I posted the store link exactly for that reason. It's an interesting site, but not optimized for conversions, as the Internet Marketing Types would put it.

My box just came in the mail. At first glance the packaging looks nice -- it's amazing to go from one available CD to six! Will report back when I finally have time to listen to them all.
