I can't put my finger on who Veil Veil Vanish remind of. The dark look, big bass up front, white coffin guitar...it's just not coming to me. Please help. Thank you.

Kidding? Put a helmet and 50 lbs on the guy and it's The Cure.

Ha!! Too much wine. Just realised you were being facetious.

I didn't scroll down and I listened to it without watching them, totally the Cure on vocals but the bass line up front reminds me of someone I cannot think of but I like it

Okay, this video does them a serious injustice - it's just poor caricature. They are freaking excellent live!

That crunchy bass and the vocals remind me a bit of The Faint.

Yeah I hear the Cure too, but I would say a mix of the Bravery & Cure.

I was thinking that in other songs, especially Modern Lust, the singer sounds like Jim Kerr of Simple Minds. I like Modern Lust better than Anthem as a single.

If this song was slowed down ever so slightly, it would make a great track 5 on Sparkle In The Rain instead of East at Easter, right after Waterfront.

It really is a dandy little ditty. If you played this for me saying that you'd found a long lost new wave classic, I'd completely believe it, wondering how the hell I'd missed such a great track.
