Trevor Horn announces Buggles reunion

Postby bigwavedave » Fri Aug 27, 2010 2:52 am

P.S. The closest I'll get to the Buggles reunion is seeing Geoff Downes with Asia a few weeks prior on Sept. 8. I figure I have to see Asia at least once in my life, and hey, at least it's the original four members.

That would be cool to see Asia. Dave, run up and mention to Geoffrey that they should do one show in the US. [:)]

You can see some glimpes on Youtube. Apparently Alison Moyet came on and sang " Slave To The Rhythm".

I tried to get Geoff's attention during the stage bows at the end of the Asia show in Seattle a few weeks ago. No luck, as he was on the other side of the stage when I finally made it up front.

Not that it would've made any difference, but I was going to implore him to bring the Buggles over for some US shows. Ah well...I tried!

Anyone know what the set list was for this show? I saw "Johnny On The Monorail" on YouTube. The Buggles don't have a lot of songs so they could have technically played both of their albums which would have been amazing. I hope they recorded it so they can put this out on dvd.

Can you ask your friend if he saw any filming of the show?
