<br>whatever happened to this project?

Yes, good question. That's my project. I hope to be able to ask Yello Office/Boris early next year what their plans are. I guess Boris has been busy this year with the Anthology. /JW

I hope that you do get the go ahead, that would be a fantastic project

Thanks. It's almost completed anyway, so it would be a total waste if it does not get published. /JW

As noticed on http://www.theyellosite.com/:
"Amazon.de is giving away Yello’s More (single version) song for free. If you’re not located in Germany you will not be able to download this free track."

here is the link:

http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0047U7 ... d_i=301128

Strange. Supposed to have been available since 29th Oct, before Anthology was released. And there is no shorter version of More officially before. And More isn't even included in any version on Anthology. A mystery....

I have now analyzed the differences on Anthology Vol 1 & 2
as compared to the original versions. Boris re-edited more tracks
than one could have guessed; mainly he shortened them, sometimes
only a few seconds.

What I don't understand is why the new compilation is so difficult to buy in many territories?, where is the logic.

It's almost as if Yello & Universal don't want people to buy them !!

It's easy and cheap to order from an online Swiss site
http://www.grooves-inc.com/yello-yello- ... 84209.html

I don't know why the Anthology isn't listed, it seems to change back and forth, probably because it has been withdrawn to replace the faulty disc.

I just sent an email to Grooves to see about getting a replacement cd - I'll post here when I get a response.

Love that dvd by the way - looks great. Just a shame a few of the videos were left off...

It's not them who willreplace it, it's Universal's fault, there is a link from Yello'd official site www.yello.com "missing track Lost Again", it goes to http://www.grooves-inc.com/yello-yello- ... 84209.html
It's in German (what else hehe) there is an email link, but also an opportunity to download Lost Again for free (I assume instead of settling with a replacement disc) (but what fans would settle for that??).

My rather swift reply from Grooves:

Dear John

In the moment there is no way of getting a replacement. The company has
realised the mistake and now withdrawn all boxes from the market. It will
take
some time until the new pressings are back on the market.
So you got one of the few faulty items which had been delivered.
We kindly ask you to send the wrong CD bach to us and as soon as we have the
new items we will ship a replacement.

Best regards
Terumi

And I got a reply from yello@universal-music.de
on 16th November:

Dear Mr. Warstad,

we'll send you asap a new CD.
For this, please send us your adress.

Best, O.Raasch

(end of quote)

And I have one sealed box as well, hope Boris was right, that it will become a collectors's item!

Any way for non-German speaking Yello fans to get this deal?

As for the faulty box being collectible - don't hold your breath!
You never know, though...

Yes, I posed some info about German amazon, and as you see I got a reply in English.

Thanks for the Universal link - I received my replacement cd yesterday. The matrix #'s are different, haven't listened to it. I stuck the faulty cd in the little white cd envelope the replacement came in and stuck it in the box too, plenty of room. I'm certainly not going to throw it away!
