Well according to a minty fresh 2001 MixMag I found in a stack in my basement. The sad thing is, I remember thinking "Hey, that's a pretty good list!" Man, that's how far pop and rock had fallen for me at the end of the 90s. I have to say, I think the 00s were awesome!

Wow! I have to say that list is about as unrepresentative of what I was listening to circa 2001 as I could imagine. It seems mainly filled with dancefloor stompers.

For me the 90's ran out of steam around 1996 and the 00's went south around 2007. I prefer the 90's because I was in my 20's and had all those great times (illicit activity with girlfriends, drunken nights with pals, etc.). In the 00's, all I did was work, work and work some more. [8D]
