Score: A Hockey Musical

Dear God! Possibly the worst movie ever made! Almost enough to put me off hockey! I just don't know what to say. Canada's answer to High School Musical. I can't even bear to search for a clip on youtube. The movie ends with a heartwarming solution to fighting in hockey. WTF? Way to alienate the only target market that would even consider wasting 90 minutes to watch this shit! Olivia Newton John, oh to what depths have you sunk?

Wait a minute. There's fighting in hockey?

Thanks. At least now I have a reason to watch. Wouldn't make sense for them to let putting the puck in the net interfere with their priorities.

Wow, even the gay CBC movie critic thinks it is gay (not that there's anything wrong with that...except in hockey).

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vluOA7v1gDQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vluOA7v1gDQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

This is the worst portrayal of Canadians since...well...those young men posing as Canadians played Russia at the World Juniors.

Can you imagine a movie about US college football where they all hug at the end???

LOL, I took a client to the gala opening at TIFF this year and this was the film that was shown. The only thing worse was listening to them talk about how wonderful it was during the opening speeches [}:)] The after party with free booze was the best part.

Life's what you make it.

I asked my son if he wanted to see that. His response..."I'm not gay".

I'll say no more.

Cripes! Who'd have thunk it!? people DO play Curling outside of the winter Olympics with enough interest to support a movie! ;-)

Curling routinely gives TSN some of it's top viewer ratings through the course of the year. It's a great sport for those who can't handle the stress of watching golf on TV.

Hmm cool. Given the choice between golf and curling..I think I'd watch curling also!

Mind you, I'd also rather hammer blunt rusty nails into my testicles over watching golf. [;)]
