EPIC new wave

I need some epic new wave for an epic road trip that's coming up. It should conjur epic visual or ideological imagery. It should have epic builds and falls. It might give one chills. It would be epic if I could get some replies of your favorite epics. Examples - The Chameleons' Up the Down Escalator, Echo & the Bunnymen's Silver, or dare I even say Frankie's cover of Born to Run.

Epic: heroic; majestic; impressively great, surpassing the usual or ordinary, particularly in scope or size
