Funny thing about Wonderland is, the album version of Oh L'amour on the U.S. version is different than on the European editions that I've heard. I LOVE the U.S. album version, but all the other versions sound more like edits of the 12" remix to me. There's just something smoother about the U.S. album mix--which is the first version I ever heard when it was first played on WLIR in New York. I'm assuming that is not going to be the mix on this remaster.

I didn't realize that "Phantom Bride" originated from the Circus time period. That should be interesting to hear.

Yeah, I've always wondered what the deal was, too. The remastered tracklist looks like a dupe of the EU CD, so I would assume it's the UK album version (which I think is the 7" single mix) of Oh L'Amour. This mix sucks, in my opinion, with the disco sound effects.

tracklistings sound really promising, nice additional dvds - if they are done in similar way to the anniversary edition of The Innocents, we are in for a treat. Nice to finally have the 'Live at Karlssons' gig on dvd!

am i right in thinking that if you have the singles boxes, everything on Wonderland you already have, or am I missing something? I can see on Circus that the Shiver mix of Sometimes is included, so I'm excited about that because I've only had that on vinyl.

THe only new audio tracks on both CDs are the radio sessions. All the remixes and b-sides have appeared on the singles boxsets.

I actually think it would have been a better idea to have included a remastered version of The Two Ring Circus with The Circus.

it actually surprises me a bit, that they don't go for that option - at least I'd expected that to be the bonus if The Circus would be rereleased - wouldn't have minded that either. I am more than happy though, that they include the radio session from 1987 which is ace, have that on an old tape here + always hoped for a release.

What I meant to say about the shiver mix of Sometimes is that I've only had the full length 7 1/2" minute mix on vinyl. It's on the boxed set, but it's an edit that runs less than 6 minutes.

Not a bad price for both sets plus 2 T shirts especially if, like me, you only have the albums on original double play cassette! Good to see a wide range of T shirt sizes too!
