Wow, how did you ever take up such an unusual hobby? I'm surprised there would be so many ghosts in California?

Hi Zill,

I`ve always been into the paranormal & over time is a huge passion of mine. California has some fantastic places to investigate. Preston Castle & Wolfe Manor to name a couple of active locations.
I have a big investigation in Virgina City Nevada coming up soon. I`ll share more evidence as soon as I can too.

Take Care!

This is really cool. Is the equipment expensive?

Is it true it gets cold when there are spirits present?

There must be some cool mining ghost towns in California.

yeah I'm also keen for costs on some basic equipment.. a cheap way to record evp's and a cheap method of night vision (i.e a home cam corder with this as a standard feature maybe?)

Going to the UK later this year and staying in some known haunted locations (for 'fun' ;-)

Hey Zill,

Ya, equipment can get a bit expensive. I use hunting trap cameras and set them to take 3 pictures in a row if something sets them off. It has a 50 foot ir flash. I use static night vision camcorders for video plus extra ir & uv lights for recording the video in complete darkness. I also use a digital & a IR camera too. I use multi digital recorders to capture evps (electronic voice phenomenon). I also use emp pumps & REM E Pods, a spirit box & a bunch of other equipment in hopes of capturing paranormal evidence.

I have felt those cold spots & had an electric feeling going through my body at the same time. It was like putting your hands in a hot drier. I`ve been pushed, poked, touched, had my name called out & also said in my recorder. I`ve seen shadow figures, a door slam right behind me & a dark shadow blob that stood three feet in front of me. Iv`e seen strange lights that appear and disappear in mid air.

There are some very cool mining towns in California in the Gold Country. There also some awesome spots in Virginia City Nevada & the Amargosa Hotel in Death Vally Ca. That was the closest thing to experience the movie the Shining. The Amargosa can really mess with a person. All kinds of weird energy at that place.

Awesome TragicMagic,
Please tell me about your experience when you get back from staying at some haunted locals in the UK.
