Was anyone else here NOT alive in the 80s?

I was born in January 1990. I guess technically I was alive in 1989, but pretty much i wasn't around in the eighties at all!

I might have been alive for 1/3 of the 80s. The rest of the decade was spent at a party. I'll have to see if anyone has picture proof to verify my existence.

Welcome to the board, Mimzy. You'll notice that there's a bit of an "old boys network" here that doesn't like youngin's. Sorry about that. Everybody's got to find a place to learn about music they're interested in and this board is as good as any despite the attitude.

I was born in 1970 so the 80's were my teenage years which is probably why New Wave music resonates so much for me.

Not exactly. Maybe it's joining and immediately posting a dozen stupid topics that we (or should I say I, since you were referring to me?) don't like. It's way too reminiscent of many of our other trolls. As proof that it's not age-related, I'll go on record as saying I'll take this guy over Toyah any day and hesheit's gotta be in in hisherit's forties.

But what if it's just a kid? Why are we to assume Mimzy is a troll?

Well then...time will tell. I'm still not sure about Invisible Man myself actually.

Yeah InvisibleManhood's another one. I think he's real though. I doubt taste as bad as his could be manufactured by even the most brilliant of trolls.
