I received mine. It's not...3 tracks were removed due to bandmates objecting: Pocket Vibrator, Drum Loop and F**k Off.

anyone have these?
According to Amazon (US), mine shipped today; will be interesting to see if the track listing is the same as noted prior. But six months later; it's on it's way!

we shouldn't link to these from here, especially if some sort of court order removed them. but.... "google" is your friend. they are definitely out there.

See my post above. The extra 3 tracks are on newalbumreleases.com. I got my copy a few months ago here in the US with the xtra tracks. Didn't really care for them. They could've instead put the DJ promo edit of Rage Hard which is 4.16 min and hard to find.

agreed- other stuff could have gone on, namely the "movement 2" mix of "watching the wildlife"! it's frequently lumped in with the "orchestra mix" because it is heavy on the orchestral stuff, but it's different from the one on "cassetted"- and it's my fave mix of the song. alas.

Watching was a great single and should've been a bigger hit . All the mixes were great.

After many delays, my copy landed from Amazon last week, too. I like the design of the package. The songs are great. I never owned the original CD, so I have nothing to compare to soundwise, but it certainly sounds good enough to me. Now can we get a decent Thompson Twins reissue campaign together, please?

I have all those individually. I was referring to something more along the lines of a CD/DVD reissue campaign. There are still some nitpicks with what's out there. How many people own both reissues of Into The Gap, neither completely satisfactory? I know, be grateful for what we got, just a real shame that such an MTV-associated 80s band as The Thompson Twins have never gotten the full treatment they deserve.

I don't really understand where you are coming from regarding their stuff being reissued as those reissues from Edsel were excellent apart from the first two albums which were obviously vinyl rips but then that's no loss to me personally because i thought they were shit anyway. I take your point about their videos and it is a bit surprising they never got CD/DVD release in the same manner as Ultravox and OMD did but it's the record label to blame for that and if it wasn't for a small label like Edsel then these would never have happened.

Agreed regarding Edsel being the saviour of forgotten bands. I think my main wish is for the artists themselves to become reinterested in their old material. I'm sure Tom has some treasures hiding out somewhere and he'd put far more spit and shine on the old material than any third party could possibly hope to accomplish. Can you imagine what a real Thompson Twins box set might actually look like? First two albums straight from the master tapes anyone?
