Debbie Harry KooKoo reissue with bonus tracks

Debbie Harry KooKoo reissue with bonus tracks

Postby budaniel » Wed Sep 28, 2011 11:52 pm

I know everyone is suspicious of Gold Legion, but when they finally get their CDs released, they are pretty much the best quality reissues out there. Anyway, Debbie's first solo LP is being reissued:

http://www.shop.goldlegion.com/Debbie-H ... N56224.htm

track listing is:

Track Listing

1. Jump Jump
2. The Jam Was Moving
3. Chrome
4. Surrender
5. Inner City Spillover
6. Backfired
7. Now I Know You Know
8. Under Arrest
9. Military Rap
10. Oasis

BONUS TRACKS

11. Backfired - Special Long Version
12. The Jam Was Moving - Extended Version
13. Inner City Spillover - Extended Version

I wasn't even aware there was an extended version of Inner City Spillover, so I'm pretty excited about this--I just hope it doesn't take them two years to get this disc out. I'm STILL waiting for France Joli's "Witch of Love"....

Yeah it was the B side to the 12" of The Jam Was Moving. And while TJWM and BF 12"s have both been on CD before this ceratinly seems to be the 12" mix of ICSO's first appearance.

Wasnt Koo Koo reissued some years ago by Razor & Tie with the 12" mixes ? I thought that was a pretty good remaster.

looks like the R&T version only had the 12" of backfired as a bonus track.

Glad I waited on this, this remaster will sound great as their other cds do. Plus the bonus tracks!

I IMPLORE ALL OF YOU NEVER TO PURCHASE ANY PRODUCT FROM GOLDLEGION.COM!!! If you see your product within a year or at all the hand of God is upon you. Give your credit card to a homeless man before entering its digits into the Gold Legion website for a purchase.

Actually that's the nicest thing I've ever heard someone say about them. I suspect the author of that post works for GoldLegion.

Agree. GoldLegion are rubbish. They lie about posting CDs. Rarely answer eMails. Won't cancel my order.

Order this reissue via a company that will treat like you like a customer.

I will give them credit for purporting to release Grace Jones' "Fame" and "Muse" later this year, oops I mean later this century.

I ordered Muse (Fame came out on CD years ago, so I have that). We'll see how long it actually takes to be in my hands :-)

wow. I actually just received a shipment notification e-mail about the France Joli CD. Funny thing is, it listed all 5 CDs I ordered at one time last June, all the others of which have leaked to me over the past year and 3 months, this France Joli CD being the last of the bunch for which I was waiting.

I placed an order for all the Vicki Sue Robinson titles in late August 2010. About 6 months later I received one of them. Since then, NOTHING. No replies to e-mail inquiries, nothing. Funny thing is, I still receive e-mails about the remaining titles being shipped on such-n-such dates and nothing ever shows up. I've even been through the Florida BBB with goldlegion.com (with gold legion STILL not issuing a refund or delivering my product after a mediated solution process). I've even filed a complaint with Florida's Attorney General Pam Bondi. Out of sheer principle I refuse to let goldlegion.com get away with taking advantage of customers who offer their patronage in good faith. My main problem is their practice of charging the full amount immediately after a purchase is made--leaving their patrons with nothing. Had my account been charged as their titles became available I'd have no issue at all. I encourage goldlegion.co patron dooped by them to pursue actions that hold them accountable.
