ANYONE who ordered this set and has the same errors with the bonus disc, PLEASE go to http://www.howardjones.com/forum.html and speak up. The more people that they see who had this problem, the less they can just figure we're all crazy or bitter or something.

Seriously guys, if you ordered either set, please go post unless your disc is fine. Thanks if you do.

I'm considering tweeting directly at Howard, although I have no idea if that would change anything..

I received the new boxed set that just came out, and the 2 bonus discs do not have indexing issues. Now if they would only make good on the error on the first boxed set.

surprised no-one else has made the point but the Risk discs are missing the Institute Mix of Everlasting Love and the Danny D Instrumental of Powerhouse - and though they are generally wonderful, for 35 quid i expect it to be totally comphrehensive, especially as there is 30 minutes free on disc 1....

People should post the cuesheet for the disc in question, and state whether they have the one with a messed up index or not. The truth should be revealed by doing so.

And for those who have the fucked up one, they can easily rip their disc to a single .wav, and burn it using the non-fucked_up cuesheet.

Glen Kelly just posted over on the HJ forum that none of their team is aware of any bonus disc issues whatsoever, and suggested contacting the HJ shop about the issue.

I've just sent off an email using the specific details outlined by another member of the forum. There was an earlier post saying that this topic has been discussed on other forums. I hope the people who have discussed it, and have the same disc that I do send email to the shop so they realize that we're not just making things up.

I even offered to send them the disc so they can check it themselves. I'm not terribly optimistic that I'm going to get a fixed version, but if there's anyone paying attention whose bonus disc has none of the issues, please speak up. Otherwise I'm inclined to think that it's probably an error duplicated on all the discs and most people just haven't been paying close attention or playing the tracks separately, which is unfortunate because clearly they don't feel there is any issue at this point.

He was very much aware of it as people were complaining on there and then their posts were deleted. Have a look on page 6 of the thread titled The 12" Album / Action Replay (2011) and then ask Glen Kelly if he was unaware of any issues.

I get the feeling that the first pressing (there isn't any official second pressing yet) was totally fucked up regarding to the track markers. Instead of admitting it, they stayed away from the topic as good as they could. Even now people are in denial about it. Why ?!

I too think that most (99.9%) of the owners of this set from last year have the wrong track markers on that RISK(Y?) disc. Admitting this problem to themselves is too much for them I suppose. So they rather keeping the 'perfect remasters'-dream alive for themselves and for others.

Analogue, please check your personal messages on the HJ forum.

Still waiting on a reply from the shop about my disc, and I want to hear if the replacement you got/are getting is any different.

After AudioDile finally managed to successfully, if not get a formal acknowlegment of the problem, at least document the issue and allow others to weigh in at the HJ forum, I contacted the HJ Webstore and inquired about the possibility of getting a replacement disc. They resonded as follows:

"Many thanks for your email. This is not a problem we have come across before but if you would like to send me your address, I will put another copy of the bonus disc in the post to you which will hopefully work correctly."

So, since there isn't a formal admission from anyone regarding any production error or indexing issues, I will hopefully receive another bonus disc if not technically a 'replacement' disc.

Actually, just as I was typing this reply, I received an email confirming that my disc was sent out April 27th.

*fingers crossed*

ah. ok. thanks for clearing that up. I wonder if they simply pressed more copies that are corrected and just don't want to admit it was a problem, hoping most people won't bother them for a new one.

It took two emails and a week to get a reply, but they are sending me a replacement as well. If THAT disc has issues, it would be nice to be offered a discount toward something else but I doubt they'd offer it.
