Matt Bianco - 1st LP - my WISH CD (NOT official)

Matt Bianco - 1st LP - my WISH CD (NOT official)

Postby discoginfo » Sat May 26, 2012 4:12 pm

I read somewhere (can't remember where) several months ago that there were plans to reissue/remaster the Matt Bianco 80s albums. Well I felt inspired to come up with a track list, just in case their record company reads this, also it's nice to have feedback from fans/experts.

CD 1 - Original album + 4 extra tracks
Whose Side Are You On 4.32 [Extended Version]
More Than I Can Bear 4.15
No No Never 3.43
Half a Minute 3.46
Matt's Mood 5.18 [Extended Version]
Get Out of Your Lazy Bed 3.22
It's Getting Late 3.20
Sneaking out the Back Door 3.42
Riding with the Wind 3.22
Matt's Mood II 5.13

Big Rosie 3.26 (B-side Get Out of Your Lazy Bed)
The Other Side 4.12 (B-side Whose Side Are You On)
Poolside 3.08 (B-side Nervous 10" 1988)
More Than I Can Bear (1985 Single Remix) 4.40

CD 2 - Versions

Get Out of Your Lazy Bed (Extended Version) 4.25
Big Rosie (Extended Version) 6.20
Sneaking out the Back Door (Extended version) 4.49
Matt's Mood 4.31 (B-side 7" version Sneaking out the Back Door)
Whose Side Are You On (Original 7" version) 3.22
Half a Minute (Extended Version) 4.44
Matt's Mood II 3.40 (B-side 7" version Half a Minute)
Big Rosie (1985 Remix) 4.54
Matt's Mood (1985 Remix) 5.23
More Than I Can Bear 4.23 [Remix 2]
We've Got the Mood (Matt's Mood '90) 6.12

It's possible there are more versions, or that some 12" version of Matt's Mood (1 or 2) is slightly longer than the LP version, but it's difficult to clock vinyls. In general, I believe I got most of it right. Any correction is welcome.

There is also the demo version of "Half a Minute" from 1983,was on BASIA's website some time ago, maybe not good enough quality to be on a remastered CD as it stands, but i suppose it could be cleaned up to something like the standard required.

Thanks Magnum. I could not find the right link to download the MP3 amongst all the non-relevant (commercial) links though, but I can listen to it.

About demos, it's usually not the record company that owns them, they usually belong to the artists, as they were usually recorded before they signed to the record company. However, I believe there are unreleased mixes/versions & tracks from these sessions.

It would also be nice with a new compilation Cd with all the singles 1984-1992 plus a DVD with the videos. /JW
