And here's a sneak preview with the boys working in their home studio, with an excerpt, the music sounds ... good!

Decidedly predictable MOR, but that's probably what they need to be to shift units these days. I'm okay with the production but to me the song is worse than anything on U-Vox. Here's hoping the album will be a little more experimental.

Umm, synth bass ala 1981 is readily available in kajillions of records recorded in that era. We don't need any more. We need releases or re-releases of lesser known bands in their 70s/80s prime. I assume this is just a loss leader for an upcoming tour, like most other "new" CDs by old bands.

I agree with the reissue campaign from lessor known artists but a fresh new album especially after all these years is a warm welcome too. Maybe if John Foxx guested on a few tracks would've been splendid !

Listening to the album on Spotify as I write this.
One thing's clear : it does sound like Ultravox. [:D]
To make it complete, they should release a 12" with a classic 80s extended version of Brilliant, the single... Hehe...

Music sounds good. What happened to Midge Ure's voice? Sounds more like Jon Anderson.

I like it. A few songs are so-so but overall a nice modern throwback.
