Sideway Look?

I have the 1984 self-titled album by Sideway Look, and I love it [:)], but can anyone tell me any info about the band? I know both "Knowing You From Today" and "Till the Bitter End" were singles, but were they / the album a success? Did they record a follow-up album?

Sorry I can't help you with info on the band.
But,
MSKremember just posted a song by Sideway Look called "Great Divide". I don't know if you checked it out yet on the "Obscure80s Central". I am wondering if it is the same band, as the vocals are pretty different then on "Knowing you from Today".

I don't know much about them, but I do know they released a second lp/CD titled Taming The Blade. I have the first lp, and was tempted to buy the second, but never got around to it.

They had 5 singles and 0 hits. Don't know from today what part of Scotland. Led by Brian Smith (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Colin Thom (guitar, keyboards, harmonica, backing vocals).

That's too bad. You'd think if not big hits, they would have atleast been small hits somewhere [:(]
