Fantastic news about 'Lipslide'... 'Ready or Not' is especially lovely.

The page also says "Saint Etienne’s entire back catalogue, 8 studio albums, 2 compilations as well as Sarah’s solo record, have all now been completely re mastered and updated with new artwork and even some rare, unreleased, bonus material."

Well I see no further info on that.... the 2-CD deluxe editions that came out a few years ago are mostly deleted fetching horrible prices....

All of the reissues are still in print I believe...I have the entire set so far.

I have a spare copy of Finisterre if interested.

At least some of the 2-Cd Deluxe editions from a few years back are deleted, and not only that, but used copies cost a fortune. For example I checked Sound of water Deluxe 2-CD:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sound-Of-Water- ... =1-1-fkmr1

Can you guess the asking price?

You never see those deluxe editions going cheap even second hand apart from Good Humor which i managed to pick up new from Play a while back for £3.99. It makes you wonder how many copies of these deluxe editions were actually pressed when they went out of print so quickly.

I just noticed on amazon that you cannot buy Good Humor either new or used.

Yes but 1000 £ (yes one thousand) is a lot even for a deleted deluxe. The tendency today is to sell as download only. So any re-print of real physical deluxe is welcome. But still I have not seen any info about it apart from the mentioning in the link at the top of this page.

Amazon (US) Marketplace has most of them at normal prices, except "Sound Of Water" and "Good Humor," which are very expensive.

Yes, that is why I reacted when that page at the top also says "Saint Etienne’s entire back catalogue, 8 studio albums, 2 compilations as well as Sarah’s solo record, have all now been completely re mastered and updated with new artwork and even some rare, unreleased, bonus material."

That article was written by Charlotte Tanner On September 11, 2012
so they an't refer to the old deluxes, right?

Good GOD. I accidentally bought two copies of Sound Of Water and I was really mad at myself until seeing the price being asked for it. Hell, anyone that wants my second copy can have it for only £900 - that's 10% off! [:D] Seriously though ... that guy has to be dreaming. He'll be lucky to fetch £50 after all's said and done, I'm guessing.
