For everybody who doesn't read the thread and follow the directions that have been posted many times - READ THE THREAD!!! You have to email Nate for instructions. He will most likely NOT contact you. The only people who will contact you are the spammers who send spiders out to scan Internet message boards for your email address. Again - READ THE THREAD.

(sorry - just venting.)

Perfectly understandable ekahob. Seems that the newbies just skim the thread and miss all of these FYI advisos.

OK, after much procrastination and otherwise busy work, I'm finally ready for the hub. Disintegration? Natephish? Anybody? What do I do?

I'm on a Mac, BTW.....

Does anyone know of the easiest way for me to convert from wma to MP3? I want to get on the hub & all of my NW songs are stored in Windows Media Player.

Thanks!

I'd like to contribute to the hub. There's nothing more rewarding for me than to share the obscure music of the eighties with other fans.

I need updated directions on how to connect using my mac laptop running osx? If you are on a mac also, then please help me out.

Can someone reply... please?

Strange that your settings were not transferred to the new install.
any how it shouldn't be a problem now that the hub is no longer PW restricted [;)]

Try a variation of your Hub ID in "Favorite Hub Properties"(Change or add a letter)
To open it, click on the 'Favorite Hubs Tab' Right Click on 'The Wave' and select 'Properties' and you will get a dialog box (Favorite Hub Properties). Make the revision WITHOUT using a PW then set it. You should then be good to go. (Hopefully!)

Does anyone know why after I downloaded songs from the Hub and I go to play them in iTunes, I get the following message for most of them (not all of them)?

"Song cannot be used because the original file could not be found. would you like to locate it?"

All my downloads are in the DCC download folder which I added to iTunes.

Thanks

John
