XTC,very good idea to go ahead and burn the tunes NOW ! In the event your computer craps out on you. I just lost a ton of stuff thats forever hidden in the last hard drive. Better to be safe than sorry.Also, before you burn-encode all mp3's into 320 bit !

Bowie, thanks for the advice.....are you talking about the "options" tab on Windows Media where you can change the quality of the sound?

Bowie, I was just going to copy my music folder into a duplicate music folder and then drag it onto the CD.....but after reading your post again....is there an easier/better/safer way?

I not very good at this stuff. Thanks for any help!

That sounds fine XTC...just to make this easy and not confusing...drag the music folder into the "burn window" as you stated for right now.Put a cd-r into the drive and click "burn". I dont normally use Windows media player to burn but it does the job. Now, I dont know if you have two seaprate drives but if so- drive
"E" is prolly your dvd burner drive. Just use that one ! What other media software is in your computer-Roxio,Nero,etc.. ?

Roxio should be a lot easier to use...I would familiarize myself with it XTC . I would think it would be easier to encode mp3's at a higher bitrate not to mention burning cd's.

Wow...I am really thrilled with our Hub!

I know have gone from a library of 250 songs when I started in this Group, to over 3100 songs. And 99% of that is from the 1977-82 era alone, which is my fave.

Most impressively, I have found only one song that was flawed, and I've listened to probably 400-500 of those 3100 so far.

Hi all. How do I access the New Wave hub? I downloaded the appropriate software, and I have been able to connect. But where exactly is the New Wave hub? What is the name of it, and how do I get in?! THANKS

The hub is basically a "room" that all the users join. Each user sets up a list of files to share with the others. Then you can simply look at other users' lists and download whatever you'd like.
