Great news. Two things though: The 12" mix of Atomic Lullaby is different than the album mix ? also Digging Your Scene (12" Mastermind Remix)running time 6:13 min, which appeared on the 1996 collection For The Record isn't here. Unless it is known as the Scat Mix ?

From memory the "scat mix" doesnt run to 6mins 13secs.......not sure if the mastermind mix was an original release from 86'.......maybe someone on here can confirm or rebuff this..

I have the UK 12" OF AL and the original 1984 LP of LFAG and the difference is that the LP version has a notable fade in intro and on the 12" it doesnt.......cannot say if its the same on later CD re issues tho.....

also noticed there is no "man from russia -remix" and no 12" mix of "forbidden fruit"........would also have liked to have seen "live today love tommorrow" and "in cold blood" on LFAG as bonus tracks.

Still.... both CDs look decent, with demo's,12" mixes,etc.......well worth buying IMHO.

This is awesome! I love the blow monkeys and I am happy they are releasing an album. I first heard them when I watched dirty dancing and I instantly fell in love with their music!

Got my copy of Animal Magic today. Still waiting on Limping... At first listen both discs sound pretty good. I was very impressed with the track selection and didn't notice any vinyl rips per say.

My copy has a mastering fault on it which appears on Digging Your Scene (Phil Harding Remix) which drops out for a second at the 6 minute mark. Anybody else have this problem ?

Same goes here. I didn't check before as I already own this version on the "Phil Harding Club Mixes Of The 80s" compilation.

I noticed that as well. I also have the Phil Harding Club Mixes cd on which this glitch doesnt appear.

It's Cherry Red. Why would you be surprised if the disc is terrible?

I think the sound is atrocious. It has too much echo and lack of clarity. Other BM releases sound much better, so it's bad remastering (or lack thereof)
