[:(]CRAP!!!

I had completely forgotten about those promised Cabaret Voltaire reissues!!! Good thing I didn't sell off my original copies, yet! Except for "Groovy...." they all need proper remastering ("Covenant...", most of all)

Still looking for my girl with auburn hair and tawny eyes...

Curious question, what do you expect as additional material for a reissue of that album? Can't see anything else than those 2 versions of Giving Ground from the 7", especially as Andrew Eldritch himself surely won't be involved in such a project.

so remastered versions of the following would be nice:
all China Crisis albums with b-sides
Kissing the Pink with B sides etc
Depeche Mode - a box set with all the singles/maxi singles (a remastered and less expensive version of the singles box sets - like less expensive 3CD box sets of Duran Duran, the Stranglers, MArillion etc that EMI released in the last few years)
Alphaville - Forever young w b sides and remixes
Real Life - Heartland
Nik Kershaw - The Riddle with b sides etc
OMD - Junk culture, Crush, Pacific age (w bonus material) - what happened with the reissue program? The first 4 albums looked and sounded great!
Visage - Visage with bonus tracks
Mike Oldfield - the rest of the albums (but i think this is a sure thing anyway)
Blue Zoo - two by two and for all I really care with bonus tracks
Icehouse - a box set that would be less expensive would be nice
Sisters of Mercy - either a box set with singles/maxi singles in individual sleeves (I loved the artwork) or at least a remastered version of Some girls Wander...
Simple Minds - 2nd box set in the same format as the first five albums, or at least individual releases of Sparkle in the rain with bonus tracks, b sides etc.

Alongside those 2 versions of "Giving Ground" from the 7", some unknown-to-us material that may come along. Who knows what vaults keep? Andrew Eldritch surely won't be involved indeed, just like it was a case with the Sisters Of Mercy Rhino reissues from several years back.

Not on CD yet:

Savage Progress - Celebration
Kissing The Pink - What Noise

In dire need of up-grades:

Grace Jones - Slave To The Rhythm
Visage - 1st album
Scritti Politti - Cupid & Psyche 85

Probably never going to happen but I can dream:

M - The Official Secrets Act (with the A Little Night Music BBC special on DVD)

Classix Nouveaux - Secret is slated for (re)release on Feb 4th, hope it has been improved on soundwise. Just the 9 tracks though.
