PRINCE: rare Purple Rain track "Modernaire" as MP3

PRINCE: rare Purple Rain track "Modernaire" as MP3

This great but "forgotten" track is only played for 40 seconds in PURPLE RAIN, but the full length 4 minute version is available (actually since 2008!) as official download.

It was written and sung by Dez Dickerson, but Prince played guitar and synth and produced it.

Thanks. I love this track. It would have done well if released as a single way back when.

Yes, it was never released on record at all. Then again there were so many releases surrounding Purple Rain, not only Prince's own singles but Sex Shooter, The Time etc, that maybe the promoters felt there was no room for it. But surely a deluxe double CD and /or DVD wuld be the perfect outlet for it. Next year it's 30th anniversary. /JW
