ZTT Reissues

Postby soundstory » Wed Apr 24, 2013 1:42 am

well, it's an important milestone year for ZTT.

I think Salvo have learnt a few lessons over the last two years, so we'll have to wait & see.....

I'd like to think that the unreleased Belle Stars album is under consideration. I always thought, although commonly maligned, that "World Domination" was a great track.

Who maligns 'World Domination'? A pox upon those who do. It is a great track.

It's been officially confirmed by Salvo/ZTT that Art Of The 12" Vol:3 is forthcoming.

No further details as yet

It doesn't exist. What tracks were (half) completed are not owned by ZTT or Horn and the members involved themselves are not happy for what was completed to be released.

A deluxe edition of Frankie Said is planned for a worldwide release. Why a FGTH every year ?? Why not release a 4cd anthology and just call it a day!

Like I said, an anthology of whatever's left would be better than putting out a new FGTH cd every year. Call it a day and just cram everything on 2-4cds !

The Propaganda live would do for me. I have a superb DVD from 1985 by them almost release quality, and it should be out there, along with anything else they have.

What's quite irritating also, is that Salvo's Propaganda reissues are all in different packages, when they could have put all the tracks on a boxset, like with FGTH.

According to liner notes in Belle-issima an album was completed in NYC, so hmmmm? This band was over way before it should have been. Theirs is one of the few comps I can play front-to-back on my player that goes without me reaching for FF.

Last thing, however, I need is more Frankie superfluity. Whatever 25 second snippet or mix that may be minutely different than a dozen others that are still unreleased on disc are forgotten by me and I don't need a reminder.

Any news on Sex mix 2 or Art of the 12" 3. Both heavily delayed if indeed they ever see the light of day

None it seems. I think that Zambient One cd was a flop. Who over here bought it ?
