Glad to see people are wanting Fiat Lux remasters, maybe one day all their stuff will appear on CD. It would be great to see the Fashion Fabrique 12" singles on a compilation one day. Great mixes & great production of great songs.

<br>God i know / used to know everything about Numan. I was putting my CD and music collection onto I tunes at one point and got as far as 100,140 songs but lost it even though backed up (don't ask, sore point and i hate I tunes). So i could've checked there for you guys. I do also have the excellent Numan book which i highly recommend 'Electronic pioneer' repleat with one of the greatest discographies ever! Yes We take mystery... slipped through in 12" form and Exposure (like many Numan CD's) contained a couple or so rarities. One of my favourite tracks was the remix by Renegade Soundwave of Are 'friends' electric' from 1988 (i think). There was two actually as one instrumental and it or even they finally appeared on CD about a decade ago. I also like a few of the remixes of Cars of which there were many. The Talla Xx or whatever it was called, Dave Clarke and Witchman's Freebase assault were a few from the late nineties. Also the E reg Extended model and Motorway mix from 1987 were rather excellent. Zues B Held (the spelling is wrong i know on his first name) i think was the remixer on those 1987 versions. There was a nice 1994 mix or two as well on the 1994 CD single with 7 mixes on. I would also advise people to check out his anniversary re-records of which there were about 5 in the end spread across various formats around the period of 1998 (as they were probably titled 20th anniversary versions). There's so many issues of Numan albums it's hard to keep track or remember in the end. There are a few rarities also on I tunes including My dying machine Instrumental remix as a 2 track single which i have purchased!

Nice to know I'm not the only person that loves Are 'Friends' Electric (Renegade Soundwave '91 Mix). And Zeus B. Held certainly deserves God status for Cars ('E' Reg Extended Model); the definitive version IMO.

Good call! Forgot about these!!! :D

It is odd that Fiat Lux was never released on CD, it would make a fantastic compilation!!

Thunderbird2 i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear that lost Hoorah! Boys! Hoorah! 12"!!! I heard about it (probably somewhere on this forum a long time ago) and scoured the internet for it. Couldn't find it anywhere! HBH were great! I also wouldn't mind hearing The Recruits if you still have anything... I'm Dominik500 (at) Gmail.com THANK YOU!!

I do have their 2 singles which I treasure. The b-sides are really strong too. I've heard rumors of a ten track unreleased Hoorah! Boys! Hoorah! album of demos that was floating around at some point. Oh how I'd love to get my hands on that. I really appreciate you sending me the song!!! Have a great trip and get home safe.

And back to Numan we go! I'm guessing that's the Ade Orange who played keyboards with Numan for about 10 years or so. I was wondering if they fell out as i heard something along those lines recently

Yep thats the one and a really nice person with it , I had lost touch with him when that happened , I read somewhere that it was due to Ade Fenton playing a big part in Numans music . If you can track it down he did a great CD under the band name Big Noise UK , this was with Chris Payne from Numans old band and Helene from Hoorah boys Hoorah who did some female vocals on it. They do a great version of fade to grey on it. I think Numan met Ade first when he did the additional keyboards on RadioHeart . He used to have a recording studio in Ashtead Surrey
