Wang Chung "Points On The Curve" and "Mosaic"

I have took the plunge and bought both of these hopefully the sound will be will be ok on them. What i did notice though about Points On The Curve is they have used the original running order of the vinyl and the cassette unlike the CD reissues and if i'm not imagining things i seem to remember there was a reprise of True Love between Even If You Dream and Don't Be My Enemy on the second side of the cassette.

Cool. Let us know how the quality is. I've always wanted WC remasters and as these r probably all we'll get , I'm really curious .

Seriously what's the point? They had remixes; why not dig them up and do a real 'deluxe' set.

Maybe proper master copies aren't available of the remixes, only vinyl rips, although I'm sure they do exist somewhere.

Has the superb soundtrack song, Fire In The Twilight, ever been remastered? There are two versions I'm aware of...single and original version.

This was my fave song by the band and it was a big radio track on KROQ back in the day.

It should have been added to their two greatest hits collections, but due to label licensing issues, never was.

A definitive best of well overdue that includes the Huang Chung stuff and Fire In The Twilight. One day...Demon, are you reading?

I suggest that anyone who has bought Culture Factory CDs and is displeased with the so-called "remastering" send feedback to them via their official website, www.culturefactoryusa.com . Just click on the "Contact Us" section. The label is trying to state that by having everyone leave their equalization settings flat that no further tweakings are needed -- that is, Culture Factory's so-called "remastering" team has already tweaked them for you: http://www.culturefactoryusa.com/compon ... emastering . Very stupid. I've already left feedback myself, but, of course, I did not receive a response. I'm done with Culture Factory until the sound quality issues are addressed. It's a shame because I really wanted to pick up the Martha Davis solo effort, but I'm afraid that it will suffer the same fate as "Little Robbers" or "All Four One" in the sound department. They are awful, bloated messes, sonically.

Well, just make sure that you leave another negative review on Amazon. If everyone keeps leaving negative feedback, then maybe Culture Factory will consider changing its remastering process.

They advertise on their website like you are getting the best possible product when all they are doing is destroying the music. I think this is what they call denial? I've never had the misfortune of hearing one of their CD's, but I'll trust the glut of complaints that I've been reading.
