Nearly all Captain Oi Reissues Remastered By Tim Turan Are Brickwalled Beyond Belief. Before 2000 Captain Oi Used to the best reissue label....Now I just don't bother anymore.

So Many Potentially Brilliant Releases Have Been Ruined.

Best to stick tp the Pre 2000 releases and the old DOJO Or Castle versions.

I just found out about Brickwalling cds, what a shame their doing this. I have just checked a couple of Captain Oi cds from 1999 and they're also Brickwalled.

Right now I'm in the process of checking my collection as far back as 1996 just to make sure.

What a shame, they ruined such great albums. Also, what a waste of money....[:(!]

Blame the I-pod <it's not loud enough!> generation. Cd's with dynamic range that expand and breathe on a good stereo system sound thin and subtle on a portable device. And computers and small portable listening devises are what most Americans listen to most of their music on these days, unfortunately for the rest of us.
Majority rules.[:(]

Isn't he the one who destroyed the 1st three Kim Wilde reissues? Those were terrible. I kept my bare bones boxed set. Tim sucks!!

I only have a few Captain Oi/Mod CD's (Vapors and Revillos), and those seem ok, aside from some other complaints.
