<br>Just download the videos from You Tube and save yourself £20.

With this statement, it's safe to say, I won't be using your judgements in video/sound quality for opinion.

As much as I agree that analog masters are limited in digital reproduction/master. It's the sound and ability to include more higher quality sound tracks/various standards that make BR a better suitable medium.
As demonstrated by the DVD release here and the lack of space for PCM audio. DVD is limiting by standardized requirements.

Totally agree Soundstory and elviscaprice. Moni, if you say something don't complain when people react how do we know exactly what you mean? You never gave any indication that you were joking it sounded like you were quite annoyed with the whole thing and in part at least, serious. Think i'm gonna order this DVD actually although sad it's not Blu (not Blue. elviscaprice!) Ray. I actually saw Hojo last week at Kew The Music along with The Human League who headlined that night. They were both brilliant as usual. Hojo played TCOGB and after about 6 minutes went into the new dance version for another four minutes or so. I purchased that night off I tunes and highly recomment it. Howard Jones / Cedric Gervais i think. Released two weeks ago. Speaking of the recent remasters i was very sad to see Total Conditioning (Full version) left off them. This was the 8:01 version that was featured on Pearl in the shell (U.K. 12") and the best version ever of Conditioning / Total Conditioning

I still thinking asking £20 for a single DVD is taking the piss but then his whole reissue campaign has been taking the piss with the prices he is asking. I can live without buying this as no doubt sooner or later a copy will turn up on ebay or amazon as they usually do. If you are all happy buying this at an over inflated price then that's your decision[:)] Oh and btw it wasn't me who left the 1 star review on amazon about the videos being in crappy NTSC format http://tinyurl.com/nmq8ka3

LOL, silly complaint about NTSC. Either format can be as good as they are willing to, off of the masters in either PAL or NTSC. As far as this collection ever getting cheaper, forget it, might find an illegal download but this DVD will sell out in it's limited quantity and be worth much more in a couple years.
I thought the picture quality was very good (note: I have the Laserdisc). My big complaint was not having PCM sound as an option, which now I will do myself.

Note: Although the two channel sound is compressed. It is very good and obviously compressed off the remastered sound tracks. (See my limited bandwidth on DVD problem)
The surround sound is excellent.
On reflection I'm giving this whole collection a B+, can't give an A for no PCM sound.
