Not impressed by this.

Real club classics were by by bands like Duran Duran, Simple Minds etc.

Yep. This compilation would've been better off under the title Ben Leibrand's Grand 12" Inches or something.

I remember dancing to a lot of these in the clubs in the late 80s ! Simple Minds, Duran, etc were big in discos....these tracks were big in clubs (at least in this part of the UK anyway).

Is there any release, ever, that hasn't been knocked by at least one person on his forum [:D]

IS THAT THE TWELVE INCH MIX ? Out late 2010 www.robgrillo.co.uk

Lol anorak i doubt it! People moan about lack of releases then knock something that's being released. Everytime! Bunch of moaners here me thinks it's like a Woman's Wimbledon tennis final the sheer amount of moaning going on. I should've mentioned this release i saw it announced a few days ago but as usual forgot. I'm sure it's of interest to someone

Yes, but this is dull. There is nothing really here which isnt on the back to love or mastercuts compilations. They could have gone for rarer mixes of some. These started off quite innovative with the early versions but this is just lazy. Disappointing.

You like to moan about people moaning so you are just as bad[:D] Anyway this is a shit compilation.

Oooooo. Get her! It's not moaning about a release happening though which was my point. I don't know if good or not as i don't know tracklisting to literally hundreds of other compilations covering the 80's so maybe it is

Well as usual....its the usual suspects who come out and complain bout how shit something is regardless of its merits[V]......while the NW purists on here may not find it to their taste......it may not be an absolute stonker but it doesn't look that bad either and there are for sure worse 12"/80s comps than this doing the rounds....
