<br>Other releases like the recent Duran Duran remasters have had faults too. I think the masters haven't been taken care of properly and are now in a poor state. Unless masters are kept in excellent condition, remasters decades down the line will not sound perfect. The original transfers for the LP will probably still sound superior.

The Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet ones were terrible but then that's EMI for you.

Saw Nik yesterday at Rewind Festival. Pretty decent. Half hour set included Wide boy, Dancing girls, The riddle, When a heart beats, Wouldn't it be good and I won't let the sun go down

I would say yes if you can live with the way the tracks are assembled on the second disc. The remastering on it is very good.

Thought it was strange that this turned up with no plastic seal over it then realised a couple of days later it's my first order from Sainsbury's. Is this the norm? The CD's i get from Amazon always have seals on them i thought...

I just ordered "Human Racing 2cd" from Amazon UK recently and it came with no plastic sealed over. All other CDs that came with the same package were all sealed.

Thanks for reply. I've read the booklet today and i'm absolutely amazed that no has picked up on this fact... Three of the live tracks have re-recorded vocals from Nik in 2013 as his voice wasn't picked up on one of the first headsets made that he used on the Hammersmith 1984 gig!

Must admit id posted the same on a couple of forums and was amazed no reaction. I assume no one cares! Personally its shocking, totally devalues the project imho.

Lol i quite like the new vocal would maybe prefer the whole lot as 2013 vocals or whole lot plus the whole lot of 1984 versions too regardless of the sound quality regarding the vocals. But i don't think it devalues the project as he states vocals were just too quiet. I think they should be referred to though as Live in Hammersmith 1984 (2013 vocals)! Just don't get why as same gig it's live track studio track live track etc. That is just senseless. But i've never heard or owned The Riddle and enjoyed it very much! Don Quixote has held up well sounds great IMHO on both discs
