The Tube on DVD!

The Tube on DVD!

You guys will probably remember this show. The Tube was a British music program on the BBC's Channel 4 that ran from 1982-1987, was hosted by Jools Holland and Paula Yates (now deceased wife of Geldof, girlfriend of Hutchins), and was basically awesome. It ran on MTV for a short while in the U.S. It replaced London Calling in the spot following The Cutting Edge. Anyway, the first season ('82) is about to come out as a five hour, two disc DVD box set in the UK on July 31. Better kick down for that All Region DVD Player. This is pretty much the Holy Grail of new wave television. I've been hoping this would come out for years now.
